The Stealth ShadowVault SV1 Pistol Safe is one-of-a-kind because it is based on the same platform as the Stealth Heavy Duty Simplex Pistol Safe, but it now features a High Security Electronic Lock. The safe also features a hardplate between the lock body and the 3/16" door, as well as a hardplate on the door side, in addition to the lock improvement. The lock is housed in a steel housing, and the latch is also housed in a steel housing. We can confidently state that this is the safest and highest-quality pistol safe ever created.

A 300 percent thicker steel door than the industry average is another unique feature of the Stealth ShadowVault SV1 Pistol Safe. It's a solid steel wrap-around door with a thickness of 3/16" (7 gauge). The door is 1-1/4" longer than the body, offering maximum drill protection. The majority of handgun safes on the market are made of 1/16" (16 gauge) steel.
