I bought my first gunsafe console vault in 2004 when I bought my new Titan. I always carry my handgun with me and knowing that the bulk of illegal firearms on the street are stolen from cars I wanted to make sure I was never a contributor to the statistics. This installed nicely and is built like a tank. I travel to places that I needed to insure there was no access to my weapon (without a warrant) and this fit nicely. It easily held a large pistol, three magazines, and even a box of ammo, with room to spare for a snub nose and more. It does take up the entire console but has plenty of room inside. I recently sold the truck and the safe with it, but I just bought my second console vault for my new Titan.
