Overall a very nice lock box for securing valuables or pistols. I''m very satisfied with the box itself, nice sturdy construction. However the installation was somewhat of a pain. The mounting holes in the vault didn''t line up exactly right with the threaded console mounting points, spacing too narrow. Probably a tolerance issue between my particular Dodge Ram and the Console Vault. Had to enlarge the vault holes slightly and due to that then remove some material from the screw heads to clear the inside wall of the vault. Screw heads would have been easier to drive had they been hex (allen) type sockets vs. the included Phillips style.

Once the installation was done, very happy with the box.
