It was easy to install and works great. I was worried at first about the size because of some of the other reviews, but it holds any pistol I've put in it including my Charles Daly 1911 (a little tight though). Right now I keep a full-size .40 cal with a tac-light attched and it still has room for a spare mag, my check book and spare keys to my other safes!! Couldn't ask for much more! Only thing I don't really like is the gold paint and the gold plate behind the buttons, kind of attracts your eye to it, but I keep it under my desk so it's not a big deal. could always just paint over it anyway..
