I can place med. 9mm & my 380 in this safe at the same time. It can be cabled to the car frame with easy access. A great travel companion

This safe is great. Fits my Beretta 92FS (large handgun) very nicely, with room for two magazines. I was actually able to fit that gun AND a S&W Airweight at the same time (minus the magazines). The padding is nice -- you could even carry this around without the gun sliding around much. The bio lock works really well, and allows for a bunch of different users. The construction feels super solid on the whole unit. I actually purchased a GVB1000, but although it has much larger outer dimensions, i could actually fit less in it than this MVB500, just because of the way it opened, etc. Service from gunsafes.com was great.

4 stars as well as previous reviewer because of defective original unit. 5 Star customer service and a replacement unit wins my loyalty. Bought one for my wife's gun, too. Quick access and secure from children in plain sight.

Great safe for next to my bed. 4 pieces of rubber on the bottom keep it from sliding off my dresser. fits my full size pistol just fine. very easy instructions to program finger print recognition. Perfect for transporting firearm on plane (airline approved.) So easy, my wife can use it.
