<p>I purchased this almost a year ago. Could not be happier. I mounted on a master bedroom closet shelf & then into a wall stud via 3/8 lag screw I can't remember if I had to drill that hole or not, If someone thinks they are going to just pull the shelf off the wall, ha ha lots of work. I also ;like that when I open it

and catch the lid it is almost silent.</p>
