Modular safes are shipped in pieces, with easy-to-assemble panels that provide security and durability for your firearms and other valuables. Once assembled, a modular safe is just as sturdy and reliable as a traditional gun safe. With modular safes, the connection points are internal, so there is no chance of a burglar simply taking apart your safe to get at the contents.
The first modular safe was the brainchild of third generation safe builder and gun collector, Edward J. McGunn. After facing the effort and expense of moving a heavy safe, McGunn thought “Why can’t safes come in pieces?” He created the SnapSafe Titan, which had panels light enough to be moved anywhere by a single person.
Today, SnapSafe Titan and Stack-On both manufacture a variety of modular safes that are durable and affordable. These innovative designs can be moved and assembled quickly—some with no tools. These safes have features similar to conventional safes: durable construction, fire ratings, and theft-deterrent designs.
