It is very nice. I got the gloss black because it looks classic, like a grand piano. I especially like the additional space on the door. It arrived earlier than promised, and the delivery man was helpful. I wouldn't pay the extra for the extra handling, as my delivery man was quite helpful. The kit I purchased to help bolt it the concrete floor, would have been more helpful if someone had told someone such as myself, inexperienced with drilling into concrete, that a hammer drill is necessary. Once I got the right drill, the attachment to the floor worked just fine. I would buy another safe from this company if I ever needed to,but I doubt that I will need one. The sales staff was quite helpful.

I ordered this safe from GunSafes.com because of their competitive prices and free delivery. The experience was great! The safe took approximately 10 days to arrive, but was delivered in excellent condition.

This safe is one of the best available. Browning takes pride in their product and it shows in the safe construction. I was pleased with the interior (multiple configuration options for long or short guns, as well as the DPX system - which was a selling feature for me. The added storage in the door (including quick access to the guns) makes this safe much more useful than others with a similar size and weight.

The safe is clearly well made and the dial / lock action feels smooth and well made. I am sure that this is a safe that will pass through the generations.

My only disappointment is related to the DPX storage in the door. My target rifle has a handle / scope above the bore that prevents me from storing it in the DPX system, but a shotgun is easily stored in this location.

Safe came to me within 2 weeks of ordering it and the driver brought it to my garage with no complaints, awesome overall experience working with this company. The safe is very well crafted and has no cheap looking or feeling parts on it. Luckily the door is easily removed. This is a major help when bringing into the house. I would estimate the door to weigh around 150-200lbs so it takes a lot of the weight off when removed. The upholstery is very nice and secure, not just flaps of cloth stapled in. Shelving is solid and wrapped very nicely. There is tons of room for any kind of storage or configuration. The DPX system is great and totally customizable. I would defiantly recommend this to a friend or anyone looking for a solid safe at a fair price.

Just a wee bit wider than Browning said it was.

This is a great safe, plenty of storage on the inside. I have barely even used the DPX storage but plan on reorganizing it and utilizing it to its full capacity. Now for the explanation of my title. I wanted to keep this safe in the same location as my old one. The doorway is 23 1/4" with the door removed. This is why I went with the Bronze and not the Silver with DPX scope pockets that I really wanted. Browning says it is 23" wide, it is actually about 22 7/8 but the hinges make it 23 1/2". Therein lies my problem. A couple of flying drop kicks later and I got it through. To install the safe you must 1st open the door to unbolt the 2 lag bolts that hold it to the pallet, even though the instructions on the outside label say not to open the door while it is on the pallet because it may tip over. Then if you are going to move it any distance and bolt it down go ahead and take the door off. If you can predrill your holes in a garage area I would recommend it if your final area is cramped. I was eating up the batteries on my cordless trying to bore through the back and floor. Also make sure your final resting place allows enough room for the door to swing open and still be removed. I am very happy with this safe so far. I bought the mechanical lock as my previouse GunVault which is all electronic and plugged into the wall was fried with a power surge. It requires a locksmith to open at $200 or a 2 hour brute force assault (the option I chose). I hope I never get locked out of this one cause it is solid.
