This safe blew me out of the water. I researched a couple of safes for under 1000 and they were 14 gauge and did not seem like a quality piece. After 2 months I decided to go with Format. I'm so glad that I did. This thing is amazing. You will not regret it. Strong door and nice perks. It is a dark gray color which is very nice. Also, the mechanical lock is made by S&G which was a big surprise. I did not expect such quality. To finish it off, they through in the concrete anchors in the safe. You will not be disappointed. Buy this safe if you do not want to spend more than 1000. If you a ton of money and want to buy more security than buy a Ft. Knox or Amsec.

<p>Safe was very well made and had some nice, and unexpected options on the combo-lock version I purchased. The shipping came factory direct so there may be a slight delay depending on area. mine was a few days later than expected at no fault of gunsafes.com but turned out to be well worth the wait. I highly would recommend to any one wanting the maximum value on a tight budget.</p>
