At 25", this safe is deeper than most for its 60" height and 30" width. That adds a tremendous amount of volume for for pistol racks or ammunition. The DPX door system is the envy of my shooting buddies as it offers additional long gun storage (saving valuable inside space for more guns and ammunition.)



Given it weighs 700 lbs. it is a beast. Don't try to deliver it to your man cave with a few buddies. I hired it out to and was I did. While they made it look easy, they know what they're doing. Definitely worth it. Once loaded with guns and ammo it must weigh will over 1,000 lbs. That baby is going no where!



I'd always recommend the electronic touch keypad entry. The manual, spinning combination/tumbler systems are nostalgic looking, but when I am in the man cave, I am in and out of it all the time. If I had the combo/tumbler system, I'd end up leaving the door open for convenience. That would just lend itself to it being left open too long by accident and thereby defeating its purpose.
