2011 Winchester DEPUTY 12 Gun Safe: 20 Minute Fire Safe/14 Gun

This safe was exactly what I was looking for. Perfect size, and perfect quality. I chose the old-fashioned mechanical version simply to not have to feed it batteries. The packaging was awesome - 2" of foam across the entire face - surrounded by heavy duty cardboard, and bolted to it's own shipping feet. It arrived via lift-gate freight without a scratch.

The external hinges on the door allowed me to remove it, and move the safe into position much easier (and by myself). I bolted it into position (remove the floor panels - makes it a lot easier), and reassembled it.

I used the built-in cord-through for the dehumidifier, and all works exactly as designed. I've used velcro hook-side to hang holsters on the interior directly, and I am going to build some additional shelving on one side for my pistols.
