I purchased the console vault to protect my weapon when I can't take in to certain places. It has proved it's value already. I could not take my weapon into a Christmas party and leaving it in the truck in the vault made me comfortable. It is very very easy to put into your vehicle console. It is heavy and good quality. I would definitely recommend it's purchase if you want a place to leave your weapon and be confident that it will not be stolen.
