<p>I bought two of these safes, and overall I'm very happy with them. They are strong and well-made. The door is spring-loaded to open, so when the combination is complete, the door pops open with authority. Really had a great experience with both the company and the product.</p>

I take advice from my shooting friends very seriously. When I asked for the best small pistol safe for my car, they recommend the GunSafes brand. There were several options, including one that sits flat, but I decided on the GVG1000C-STDbecause it has space for my Glock 17 plus 2 spare magazines. Excellent design, outstanding quality. Built solid, door opens fast and easy. It is just the right size for one gun and additional clip. I''m happy with the safe.

I really like this safe. It's sturdy, sleek and functions well. I'd rather work a quick combination than a trigger lock in a bad situation. Stock was out so they upgraded me to the deluxe model THANK YOU! Great customer service. 1 Star deduction for the bad knockouts for the cable restraint and the dim LED light inside the safe. It is a dull yellow light and does not look like the picture. All in all an excellent buy, I'll most likely buy another when I have the need.

This safe is a great buy for just over $100. Fits one pistol and a couple clips very nice. Easy to operate and program, but getting at the battery can be a bit tricky. Other then that there's no reason not to buy.
