This Console Vault, Model 1002, has been manufactured specifically for Chevy Silverado Floor Consoles (Years 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006). These deception safes are designed to take the shape of the console they fit within making them non-detectable from outside a vehicle. Because these safes are hidden from view, come with high quality, pry-resistant locking mechanisms and use bank vault style hinge latch pins, they are a great vehicle accessory to store handguns, weapons, ammo, wallets, documents and other valuables from potential car thieves.

The lid is spring assisted to remain in the full open position when unlocked. This model is available with a high security barrel key lock or our unique keyless locks. For keyless locks, you have a choice of 3 or 4 digit combination mechanisms. The installation process is very simple with a total install time of 5-10 minutes using factory hardware.

Console Vault has recently made the greatest design improvement since the product was first developed. Our new Triple Guard Lock System incorporates a latch design similar to the pins used in the doors of bank vaults, an overall improvement that greatly increases security.
