Barska AX11652 Tall Biometric Safe
Hi. This is Shannon with Gunsafes.com, taking just a minute to give a quick run-down of the features of one of, what I consider, the coolest gun storage solutions on the market today, the Barska AX11652.
This tall biometric safe is almost the perfect example of a gun safe/gun locker hybrid. It’s compact size, similar to a locker, makes it ideal for someone that has limited space and only needs storage for a handful of long guns (up to 4 to be specific), measuring in at approximately 52”H x 8.6”W x 9.8”D. But, it boasts the same security as a full size gun safe, and has a California DOJ approval to prove it.
State of the art biometric technology makes this unit highly secure, only recognizing the fingerprints that you program into the system. And although you’ll most like choose to give access to only a handful of fingerprints, or individuals, you do have the option of programming up to 120 unique users. The biometric locking system is secure, reliable and works within seconds. There are no combinations to remember (or forget!), just one touch of your finger. However, if you prefer to use a more traditional method of accessing your valuables, you can use one of the two “back-up” keys provided with the safe to disengage the three-point deadbolt locking system.
Although the AX11652 only weighs in at 66 lbs, it can be inconspicuously mounted anywhere, such as a bedroom or utility closet, and comes with the all the hardware you’ll need to do so. And now it’s equipped with a new silent access feature, so you can mute the beeping notification when entering your safe. This can be an essential security feature in preventing the disclosure of your own or your safes location to an intruder, in the event of a break in or an emergency situation. If you do choose to leave the audio indicator on, 4-AA batteries are included with the unit to power up the mechanism.
