This is the first gun safe I have purchased, and I did a lot of research before I chose the Winchester. I was also looking at a Bighorn Rhino model, which I believe has the same level of quality as the Winchester, but this one was a better size for my needs.

The overall finish of the safe is excellent, with one minor complaint. This safe is shipped on metal 'channels' rather than on a pallet. These appear to be bolted to the safe prior to powder coating, and when I removed them the power coat at the base of the safe cracked. Not a big deal at this point, but it would be nice if Winchester came up with a way to fix this.

The interior is very nice. I was pleased and surprised to find that the upper shelf has a cutout to accommodate rifles with long barrels - I expected that I would have to cut that out myself as it isn't visible in the pictures.

I also really like the three section interior. It allows one section for long rifles, one for shorter rifles, and a third for shelf storage.

The door mounted storage system is very useful and seems well made.

As with most any gun safe, storing the advertised 36 long guns in here would be a challenge at best. Scoped rifles seem to take up the space of 3-4 non-scoped because of the angle required to keep the scope from knocking into the wall. I would like to see more companies adopt the Stack-On extended stand-off idea.

Prior to purchasing this model I contacted Granite Safes (The actual manufacturer) and verified that the body is constructed with continuous seam welds. That was a key issue for me.

Since the description doesn't mention this either, other buyers might be happy to know that this safe has a cam system connected to the bolts that protects the locking bolts from simply being pushed back into the door.

Lastly, a word on the seller, gunsafes.com. I was very impressed with the assistance I received in choosing my safe and the regular updates on my order status after placing the order. GunSafes.com had great service and the lowest price I could find on the safes I was comparing.
