A WORD ABOUT GUN OWNERSHIP:
Gun ownership is a responsibility that must be taken seriously. Guns are brought into the home environment for many good reasons including; hunting, recreational shooting, personal protection and job related such as Law Enforcement. Remember, guns and children don't mix. Statistically, there are 22 million children living in US homes that have at least one firearm and the death rate among those children under 14 is nearly twelve times higher than in 25 other industrialized nations combined. According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, 3006 youths died from gunfire across the US in 2005. Accidental injuries and deaths from firearms can be prevented in the home if one simple rule is applied; "IF YOU OWN A GUN, LOCK IT IN A SAFE."
