For items weighing over 150 lbs we include a standard curbside delivery, this will get the truck to your house or business, they will unload the safe with a lift gate to the ground level. The carrier will call in advance to schedule delivery. Depending on the weight of the safe you may want to arrange for additional help to bring the safe inside. Please contact us before the item ships if you live on a rural route, a remote area not serviced by freight carriers, or an island. If you have a narrow, steep, or inaccessible driveway for this type of truck, please contact us prior to the item shipping to discuss other delivery options. Liberty Safe and Security Products warrants each new Liberty, National Security or Centurion safe or vault door will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the original owner excluding the lock.
If there is a defect in either materials or workmanship of the locking mechanism during your lifetime, we will fix it *free of charge. Liberty will also repair or replace your safe *free of charge if it is damaged during a fire, a break-in or break-in attempt during the lifetime of the original purchaser. There are no hidden expenses with Liberty's limited lifetime warranty, no charge for opening the damaged safe, no charge for freight, and if the safe needs to be replaced, no charge for the replacement safe in your home. When the unthinkable happens, you want to know that your safe is backed by a reputable company, and a warranty is only as good as the company behind it.
Liberty, National Security and Centurion mechanical locks will be repaired or replaced free of charge, including labor, for the first five years of ownership. After five years and for the life of the original owner, Liberty will replace the parts *free of charge. Electronic locks are covered for five years.

Excellent safe! Made in the U.S.A. I have no complaints about the product or the service provided. The delivery driver was helpful in getting the safe off of the truck and into the house. Having a forklift on site didn't hurt. The safe came on time and in perfect condition. I would reccomend the safe and GunSafes.com to anyone looking for a gunsafe without any hesitation. Overall, this was a happy ending to a long search for a quality product made in the U.S.A.
Overall the experience with purchasing this safe was good. The customer service personnel with GunSafe were awesome and so willing to do what ever it took to help me. The safe is great and holds a tremendous amount of long guns, hand guns and ammo. The fire rating is also an added bonus. I looked at dozens of other safes and the Fat Boy for its many features was unbeatable when it came to price. The only negative I had was the shipping experience. It was ordered on 12/20/2010 and not finally delivered until 1/25/2011. Even though the safe was less than 900 lbs and I signed up for the platinum delivery (up two flights of stairs) the shipping company would not deliver up my stairs so I had to settle on putting it in the family room. I don’t blame GunSafes for this as it was all on the contracted shipper and the folks at Gunsafe credited my account to reflect the shipping I got. I would recommend this safe and GunSafe to anyone looking for a quality safe at an affordable price
Cons: It doesn''t have an interior light, this I remidied with a battery operated light that is stuck inside the safe using velcro, the light is not an issue and if the power goes out well battery powered is what you need.
Pros: Heavy, well built constuction, large gun capacity, compared to other safes of the same size/fire protection it is a very inexpensive alternative to the competition. All I can say is delivery! Unlike other brands that will drop off in your drive way and leave, these guys unpacked it took all the trash and placed it in my house where I wanted it. Are there safes that hold more firearms, have better fire protection and have quality/heavy duty construction? Of course, but you will be hard pressed to find one that gives you this much bang for your buck. Any safe/vault can be breached and fire damage can result if the fire reaches 1400 degrees and stays at the safe for over an hour. Keep in mind fire is not stationary and a thief does not want to take up residence and wait on the police to arrive. With common sense this safe will perform any task for most gun owners, Keep it on the lower level of the house to maximize fire protection and if you have that many guns it may be wise to look at a home security alarm. Home security should be looked at in layers of security. I highly recommend this product.
