The 2096DF model of the First Alert exclusive line of waterproof fire safes offers a complete security solution for the three major hazards: theft, flood and fire. This 2.1 cubic feet Fire Resistant and Waterproof Digital Safe is classified pursuant to UL fire standards for 1 hour to withstand an external temperature of 1700° F while maintaining an internal temperature of less than 350° F. The safe has been tested by an independent testing lab and has been verified to protect electronic media including memory sticks, CD’s, DVD’s and external hard drives during a fire. The safe will also protect documents, electronics and other valuables. The safe's concealed hinges are designed to resist prying and is waterproof, even when fully submerged in liquid.
