This model of Console Vault, Model 1007, is considered the "Universal" model and is available with the optional Drink Holder "Cloak" (see picture 3 above), making this both a deception safe as well as a high security accessory for your vehicle – a far better in-vehicle storage solution for a handgun, ammo, wallet or other important valuables when compared to a glove box or other car safe solution.

For greater security and concealment, the 1007c drink holder accessory is a steel shell that attaches over the top that gives the entire unit the look of a drink holder and storage tray. With its "Cloak" option, ordered separately, the vault is secured with a spring loaded pin on the front edge and can be removed quickly when required. This 1007 is available with a high security barrel key lock only.
