The Hunter series is a great entry level into the USA made division of the Browning safes. While it does not have the customizations that the Silver, Medallion, and Platinum Plus series safes have, it does include the Axis interior that sets Browning apart from the competition, as well as the USA made quality that we have come to desire.

The HR49 capably houses up to 49 long guns and still has room for jewelry, pistols, documents and other important items. Rich gloss black or tough textured charcoal finish options look at home in your den, basement or garage. Tasteful scroll graphics resemble what you may find engraved on your favorite over and under shotgun.
The HR49's lower height profile gives you more options for safe placement than some of our taller models. We've designed the HR49 to be wider like a bureau instead of the more common "boxy" refrigerator like dimensions of other safes (25" exterior depth), allowing you to place the safe in any number of locations in your house without blocking off interior space.

The thickness of the steel used in the body is vital. Heavier gauge steel flexes less when heated, limiting distortion that lets heat in through gaps in broken welds and around the door frame. Scope Saver:
A revolution in scoped gun storage. Any way you look at it, a scoped long gun takes up the same space of two guns in your safe, except with the DPX Scope Saver. The Scope Saver takes advantage of space no other manufacturer has ever thought of using (the space in the door) to fit a scope.
With the scope recessed in the door, the scoped gun takes up no more space than an un-scoped long gun. And because the Scope Saver is integrated into the DPX door panel, your scoped long guns are right at your fingertips, easy to access as soon as the door swings open.

First it saves your scope from being potentially bumped as it is taken in and out of a conventional rack locations and second, it saves space for other guns by utilizing unused space in the door itself. Browning SR26F Gun Safe Silver Series

Today we will be discussing the Browning SR26F Gun Safe from Browning. I highly recommend the Silver series; it is the first series from Browning that is made 100% in the United States at Browning/ ProSteel ‘s state of the art facility in Utah. I have been in the safe industry for quite some time, and I can guarantee youcannot go wrong with a Browning safe! The quality and detail that goes into each safe is remarkable, not to mention the lifetime warranty. Browning truly stands behind their product and has a ton of pride in producing some of the best gun safes on the market.
A few things that really stand out on this SR26 Silver series for me is the ingenuity in design, and rock hard construction. This is a 10-27Gun Safe, and includes the full DPX door system that you see in the image, allowing you to store 7 long guns on the door, giving you internal capacity for 27 long guns with the shelves removed, and 17 long guns with the shelving in place. With this design, you have easier access to all your long guns, instead of pulling them all out to get to the ones in the back! The Security on the SR26 is seriously impressive boasting arugged 11-gauge steel body, Browningdoes full welds on all seams and corners, no spot welding! The Force Deflector locking mechanism is an advanced cam drive system that protects the lock from side bolt attacks, with a Hardened steel pin lock to protect the lock from any front attack. Browning also uses a pry resistant door bolt on the top and bottom bolts on the side of the door; they are longer inside the door of the safe to resist a forced entry pry attack from the front.
The Silver series is functional, secure, and of course beautiful! Browning does not disappoint when it comes to Aesthetics. We have each Silver series safe built per order, so you can choose the color and wildlife scene for the safe, if you don’t want the wildlife scene, you can go with a more classic scroll design.
